Working in collaboration with the attending physician, the nurse practitioner performs medical acts in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, # 301.152, Texas Occupations Code and Medical Practice Act, # 157.051- 157.060.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current, valid license to practice nursing in the State of Texas. Completion of an accrediting Nurse Practitioner program (Family, Geriatric or Pediatric). Has Limited Prescriptive Authority.
Work Experience (Years and Area): Two years related Experience
Equipment Operated: Depends on specific job description.
