Job Profile

 

Job Summary
The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program

Licenses & Certifications:
Cert Medical Radiologic Tech by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the ARRT

Work Experience: Two (2) years experience in Radiological Imaging preferred

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Correspondence  

Proficiencies: P.C., MS Word, MS Excel
